Program Information
This program helps low-income Ontario households make energy-efficient improvements to their homes, reducing winter heating costs.
What You Get
- Free home energy assessments and upgrades such as insulation, air sealing, and installing energy-efficient heating systems like smart thermostats.
- Upgrades are focused on increasing comfort and reducing energy use, particularly in homes with aging heating systems or inadequate insulation.
- The service is free, and no repayment is required.
Eligibility Criteria
Is your household eligible?
- You have an Enbridge Gas account in your name.
- Your home is heated with a natural gas furnace or boiler.
- You meet ONE of the following criteria:

Important Notes
- Homes built before 1980 are typically prioritized due to their higher potential for energy loss.
- The program targets both renters and homeowners, although renters require landlord approval.
- Social housing residents are also eligible for assistance under the program.
- An energy audit is required to determine the improvements needed.

Apply directly through Enbridge Gas or their authorized delivery agents, either online or by phone.
