We have developed two multiday intensive energy training sessions – one for First Nations Social Services workers, First Nations Housing Departments and their clients, and one for the Energy Sector. We provide First Nations training at no cost to the community as long as our budget permits within the year. There is a charge for corporate training. Ishkoday Corporate Bootcamp
Ishkoday has developed a professional development tool that can be delivered to professionals in the energy industry. This curriculum will review an understanding of Indigenous perspectives, the history of colonization and the current realities for First Nations when it comes to energy usage including the impacts of access.
Ishkoday Indigenous Consumer Energy Efficiency Training
Ishkoday has developed a course for First Nations Ontario Works Administrators, Housing Managers, and other related persons that focuses on the benefits of energy efficiency from a First Nations community, family, and individual perspective. The intended target audience for this course is Ontario Works clients, but all interested people are welcomed with approval from the above-mentioned community lead.
